Frequently asked questions

Can men attend this conference?

This conference is for women only. We want each woman in attendance to have a safe space with sisters who care and understand what it is to be a woman.

Are children allowed?

No. While we love children, we are cultivating an atmosphere for women to be at ease and away from the normal routines of their day. We thank you in advance for being considerate of your sisters.

Can I register onsite the day of the conference?

No. Due to the need to properly plan, registration will close on July 20, 2024.

What is the dress code?

You can come as the lovely lady that you are. We only ask that you show your unity by wearing one or a combination of the joyful colors of the day: Tiffany Blue, Peacock Teal and Yellow.

Where do I park?

You are open to use the hotel parking in the front or back of the building FREE of charge.

What room will the conference be held in?

The the "Moments that Matter" Breakout Session will be held in the Cypress Room and the "Prayer and Power" Main Session will be held in The Garden Terrace Event Room.

Will there be food?

Absolutely. Breakfast will be served immediately after the "Moments that Matter" Breakout Session. Doors open at 8:15 am.

Founder

Shirley J. Johnson is an Elder/Minister, servant leader, and overcomer. She has survived struggles with identity, sickness, tragic family loss and the challenges of helping others while you are hurting.

She has spent 15+ years leading ministries, teaching and preaching at various engagements. Her love for God is the source of her strength. She has a genuine desire to serve God’s people and does this through her ministry, STILL JOYFUL MINISTRIES, where she imparts that life and tragedy do not have to steal your joy.

Her background includes service in the U.S. Air Force and the Department of Homeland Security. She also has a degree in Communications from Dallas Baptist University.

Preaching an uncompromising word, prayer and exhortation are all a part of her service to God.
